The auction runs through Friday evening, closing during the Night of HOPE event on Friday, April 25, 2025.
You do not need to be present to win, but if you don’t take your items on Friday, please pick up your items at the 6:8 office building April 28-30 or contact us for other arrangements.

To view items without bidding - select the ‘Items’ tab in the menu on the upper left of the screen
To bid - begin the free registration process by selecting the blue REGISTER NOW button, or selecting the ‘Register’ tab in the menu on the upper left of the screen. Once you have registered you will be given a bidding number and will be allowed to bid.

You can use filter functions to find the items you want to see, track those items, place automatic bids and even complete the checkout process from the convenience of your phone.
To get the app, visit the app store on your phone and search GIVI. Select and download the purple Givi Mobile Donations App. Follow their instructions to log in with your email.
💲Payment Info: To plan ahead or bid before the Event, you must enter credit card or bank info. If you don't want to enter that info, call or email 6:8 and we can mark you as paying check or cash on our end then you can start bidding (we can do this during our open hours (M 9-5, T 9-3, W 9-3). Bidding Instructions
Browse the Items: Explore the auction items by browsing the categories or using the search function.
Place a Bid: Click on the item you're interested in and enter your bid amount.
Minimum Bid Increment: Bids must increase by a pre-determined minimum.
Bidding Period: Bidding will close in stages beginning at 7pm
"Three-Minute Rule" (Optional): If a bid is placed within the last few minutes, the bidding period may be extended by a few minutes.
Winning Bid: The highest qualifying bid at the end of the bidding period will win the item.
Important Guidelines
Bids are Final: All bids are final and cannot be withdrawn or altered once placed.
Sales are Final: All sales are final, and refunds or exchanges are not permitted.
Item Condition: Items are sold "as is."
Item Value: Auction item values are based on Fair Market Value (FMV).
Payment: Payment must be made upon winning the auction.
Pick-up/Shipping: Items may be picked up at the end of the evening upon check-out. If you are no longer present at the end of the auction, items may be picked up at 6:8 on Monday from 9am - 5pm or Tuesday/Wednesday 9am - 3pm
How do I cancel a bid?
All bids are final. However, if you need to cancel a bid, please see an administrator at the event. They will be able to rescind an unwanted bid.
Where can I make a donation within the Auction?
Donations can be made through our predetermined levels under the “Paddle Raise” tab.
How do I place a bid?
Place a bid on an item by clicking on an item in either grid or list view and tapping bid at the button of the screen.
Where can I find the items I have bid on or purchased?
You can find the items you have purchased, including items you have donated to by tappinbg the cart at the bottom of the screen, selecting My Activity and then Purchased.
How does the bidding work?
Items can have open bid amounts or specific bid increments. When an item has an open bid amount, swiping to bid will prompt you to enter your desired bid amount You’ll also be prompted to enter your desired bid amount instead of swiping when you bid from the Item Details view. When an item has a bidding increment, swiping to bid will automatically place the next bid amount.
Why are the bidding options sometimes different?
Items can have open bid amounts or specific bid increments. When an item has an open bid amount, you can number any bid value with the standard number pad. When an item has a bid increment, you can only place a bid in the specified increment value using the -/+ buttons.
How do Max Bids work?
When manually entering your bid, the app automatically bids the correct amount for you, making you the winning bidder, up to the maximum value you specify. So, if you add a max bid of $200, the app will automatically outbid anyone who bids less than your $200 max.
How do I make a donation?
Tap the Donate button below the search bar. You can make a donation by swiping the slider when in grid view, or swiping the item when in list view. If there is no designated amount, the app will prompt you to enter your own amount.
How do I favorite an item?
You can favorite an item by tapping the heart button. You can find your favorite items in the Watching tab of the My Activity view, tap the cart at the bottom of the screen.
Where can I find the items I have bid on?
You can find the items you have bid on in the bidding tab of the My Activity view. To get to the My Activity view, tap the cart at the bottom of the screen.
Where can I find the items I am winning?
You can find the items you have bid on and are currently winning in the Winning tab of the My Activity view. To get to the My Activity view, tap the cart at the bottom of the screen.
How do I enable or disable device notifications?
To enable or disable device notifications, tap the menu button at the bottom of the screen, then tap notification settings. To turn on notifications, choose your notification preferences and tap save at the bottom of the screen. To turn off notifications, deselect the notification preference at the bottom of the screen.
How do I change my payment method?
To change the payment method associated with your ticket, tap the menu button at the bottom of the screen, then tap payment settings.
What if I want to pay by Cash or Check?
Please see the registration or check-out attendant. They can change your method of payment to cash or check.
How do I pay for my items?
You can simply view your cart and select check out with-in the app, using the method of payment on file. If you’d like to pay by cash or check, please see the check-out attendant at the end of the evening.
