Sauk Prairie Poverty Reduction Week is kicked off on Saturday, January 25 with Schoepp's Crystal Lake Fisheree.  The fishing begins at 5:30 AM, get in on the competition or join us at the 6:8 food booth.

6:8 Community Choir Easter Cantata

Saturdays from 8:30 - 10:00am starting February 15th

Join the 6:8 Community Choir, performing "Once Upon a Tree," a Cantata by Pepper Choplin.  More details coming soon.

Rehearsals will be Saturdays from 8:30 - 10:00am starting February 15th at 6:8 (821 Industry Rd, Sauk City).  Please make at least 6 of the 9 rehearsals (optional sectionals offered).

The one hour performance will be on Holy Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 10:30am at the River Arts Center (105 9th St, Prairie du Sac).

No tickets required.  Free will offering for 6:8's Poverty Alleviation Programming. 

Kombucha Making Class: 

Tuesday - February 25, 2025  (9am or 6pm)

Have you always wanted to try your hand at making kombucha?  Maybe you’ve been hesitant to make it at home because you had no idea where to start. Or maybe you’ve wondered about the health benefits and what all the kombucha fuss has been about. 


What: 6:8 is hosting a how to make your own Kombucha Class: "How to Put BANG in Your Bucha"

Dates: Tuesday, February 25 at 9:00 AM or 6:00 PM (the same class will be offered twice)

Location: 6:8 (821 Industry Rd; Sauk City, WI 53583)

Cost: $25 (Scholarships are available - Enter promo code: BUCHA to reduce the registration fee to $5)


This is a hands-on class. All supplies will be provided, and you will be guided through each step in the Kombucha process by our veteran Bucha Maker, Marilyn.  You’ll take home your Kombucha Starter Kit in a re-useable gallon jar at the end of the class.

Pre-registration is required.  

Space is limited.  Classes fill quickly.
