6:8 Community Choir Easter Cantata

This one hour performance is free to attend with no tickets required. General seating with doors opening 30 minutes before the performance.

A free-will offering to benefit 6:8's Poverty Alleviation Programming will be available at the event.

The original words and music by Pepper Choplin will immerse you in the passion and intensity of the events of Holy Week. As the character of Luke is deeply touched by the story he is recording, the choir and soloist assume his role in the drama. Starting with Palm Sunday, it eloquently moves through the major events up to Good Friday and finally Easter. Performed in its entirety, it is a beautiful way to enter into Easter.
