There are 3 Goals for Poverty Reduction Week:
Raise awareness of the importance of coming together as a community to work towards Reducing Poverty
Help raise funds for 6:8's Encompass and other Poverty Alleviation Programming.
Increase local business by getting folks to support local businesses. (We believe we really can't sustainably Reduce Poverty without Strong Businesses providing stable jobs.)
The Week includes Schoepp's Crystal Lake Fisheree on Saturday, January 31 and culminates on Sunday, Feb 1 with the SOUPerBowl . And all week long there will be many different businesses and organizations participating with deals and incentives to encourage local business and help raise funds for the Circles Program.

6:8 Circles meets every Monday evening using a wrap-around support system for those working their way out of poverty to reach Financial Stability. We are committed to reducing the Poverty Rate in Sauk Prairie by 10% in the next 10 years!!!
