What is the Mission Trip

What is the Mission Trip?

The High School Mission Trip is an annual week-long trip through 6:8 where high school students have the opportunity to serve through various general construction and repair service projects, take part in worship and devotions in large and small groups, participate in fun games, make new friends, and grow in their relationships with Christ and with each other!

A typical daily schedule looks like this:

Wake up, Eat breakfast, Pray before we leave as a large group, Leave work site, Work at work site, Eat lunch, Lunch devotions, Resume work at work site, Leave work site, Back to church (shower, relax, games, etc.) Eat dinner, Large group, Small groups, Journal, Free time, Quiet in sleeping areas, Getting ready for bed, Lights out.

*While programming on this trip specifically focuses on Christian worship and devotions, we are aware that not all participants come from the same religious background. While we encourage participation in groups and discussions, we respect that not everyone will have the same views and want all students to feel welcome regardless of their religious beliefs!
