This Workshop is designed for parents/caregivers of 4K - Grade 5 Students. 

Choose 2 of the 3 topics to learn about. Each workshop will include interactive participation to give you practical tools and strategies to implement immediately and long term.

#1: Struggling With Behavior? Learn about the Nurtured Heart Approach Chanda Kulow & Heather Reader
Receive an Intro and Overview of The Nurtured Heart Approach (NHA), created by Howard Glasser. NHA is a relationship-focused methodology founded strategically in The 3 Stands™; helping children and adults build Inner Wealth™ and use their intensity in successful ways. NHA has become a powerful way of awakening the inherent greatness in all children while facilitating parenting and classroom success.

#2: Building and Following Through with Routines Anne Uphoff & Jen Smith
If you have been looking for ways to help your family’s life be more efficient and less stressful, this is the workshop for you! Discuss the benefits of having routines for not only your children, but the entire family. Educators Anne Uphoff and Jen Smith will share why routines help balance family life and how you can develop a routine that will best-suit your particular family needs. In this hands-on workshop, we will discuss, brainstorm, and then create personalized routines for you to take home and utilize and implement immediately.

#3: Math at Home Lianne Fish
What does math look like in my child's classroom today? Math seems to looks so different now compared to how I remember learning as an elementary student. How can I best help my child to continue their math learning at home? Join me for a presentation about what math looks like in your child's classroom today and ideas for how you can help support your child to meet their needs as a young mathematician!




Soup Cooking Class

Learn to Make Soup 
with what you have at Home

Bring No ingredients & Go home with 2 delicious soups!

Open to all Adults

Learn the creative skill of cooking with what you have on hand. Ever struggle with feeling like you cannot make a recipe because you don't have all the ingredients or not quite sure what you should do with a particular meat, vegetable, or other ingredient??? This class will give you the wisdom & practice to create a delicious dish with only the food you have at home. 

Date: Saturday, November 10, 1 - 4PM
Location: 6:8 (821 Industry Rd., Sauk City, WI 53583)
Cost: $20 (Scholarships Available)
ALL Food is provided, we ask for you to bring; a knife, cutting board, & a kettle if you have these items.

6:8 Women's Workouts

Ladies: Let's workout together!

Women of all ages and ability are welcome!
Warm, up, increase your heart rate with aerobic moves set to awesome Christian music, use light weights, hit the mats for core and toning exercises, and then cool down with another good stretch. 


A FREE 45-minute class. Come to one class, come to all of them!

Dates: 1st & 3rd Wednesday of the Month 8:30am

Childcare Provided (based on volunteer availability/commitment)
*Bring: a mat or large towel, Water Bottle, & a set of 2-5 lb weights if you have them (not required for workout)
