Straight forward of Sauk City would like to thank their employees for recently contributing to a Thanksgiving fundraiser that directly benefitted the organization 6:8.
A great lunch was provided, and Straight Forward matched the funds for a wonderful gift that will make a difference!
The programs that will benefit from this donation are: our Mission Trips this summer taking 45 high school students for a week to Mississippi to build a house and middle school students on a four day mission experience near Madison, the Silver Cord Program where high school students who serve 160 hours or more during their high school career are recognized with a Silver Cord to wear at graduation, and our Sauk Prairie Kids Against Hunger Program where we aim to provide 45 families with much needed food over Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Spring breaks. It is donations and business sponsorships like this that make these programs possible.
John and Sarah Ramthun (co-executive directors) along with the 6:8 Board of Directors are excited to be serving in the Sauk Prairie area. We offer Mission Trips for Middle and High School students and are looking to start a family mission trip in 2012. More importantly, we hope to continue the passion that these trips ignite by offering a variety of ways to serve and grow right here in Sauk Prairie for people of all ages!
